How to Prepare Roasted Colombian Coffee with a French Press

For 300 ml of water, approximately 15 grams of roasted Colombian coffee is sufficient. For a more intense flavor, this can be increased to 18 grams.

After boiling, let the water rest for about 30 seconds before adding it to the French press. (Using water at 100°C may burn the coffee and cause bitterness; 92–93°C is the ideal temperature.)

Before placing the lid on, gently stir the coffee with a wooden spoon to allow the aromas to infuse into the water.

Close the lid and let the coffee brew for approximately 3–4 minutes. During this time, do not press the plunger down.

Once the time is up, slowly press the plunger down to separate the grounds and serve immediately.
